Legacy GryphonWings Items

Here I'll be featuring some of the most popular previous designs by GryphonWings, for the purpose of continuity and history. I've been designing for many years, so it would be useless to do up a blog post for every single older design, but here are some of the favorites. All of these older designs are heavily discounted right now at the GryphonWings mainstore.

 Goddess Halter Top

The Goddess halter has been popular since its release; I put a lot of effort into the shading and draping of the cloth, trying to make the fabric look naturally silky. Paired with the silky black pants included in the full pack, it was the standard representation of the GryphonWings core aesthetic: classy, unusual, well-detailed. It's sold at the store in packs of 3 colors; this is just the main group lineup.

Charm Bandeau Top

Again the lineup; this was my "show every option possible" stage of vendor formatting, before I learned the value of minimalism. As you can see, the Charm bandeau is very closely related in material and visual style to the Goddess.

Patchy Pants

All right, so this is a personal favorite, not an overall favorite - but these jeans make me giggle like a five year old on caffeine. I actually have a brown version that I don't have a vendor for; I use it for gifts and such.

Leather Coat

The leather coat might actually be rotated out pretty soon due to its age, but it's quite a popular item even though it was one of the first designs.

There are other designs, of course, just not featured here; go to the store to check them out! All old designs are on MEGA SALE, before they get rotated out in due time. I'm categorizing everything I've done before November 2009 as "old" (and these are actually very old, because I went on a design hiatus that lasted almost a year).

GryphonWings is about to undergo a major revamp in style including sculpties, new fabrics, and new painting techniques - even an expansion of the shop. Let's get into the new stuff!
